Does any adult out there still have the imagination of a child? If you do, then I think you're blessed. Do you have any tips for enhancing one's imagination?

Yes fortunately, and it took years to realise its worth !
The being , with conscious effort and practice , is capable of activating just the intuitional aspect of the mind, and at the same time ensuring that the logical aspect of the mind is kept inactive.
Once this capability is enhanced, a person can even do better than a child, because the child does it unawares ! The child is yet to sharpen his logical capabilities, so the intuitional runs scot-free (sort of), and is also therefore, at times appearing to be unbridled, un-channelised, directionless, and left to chance performances (those performances that get appreciated by adults) !

What a GREAT question!! I personally like to first free myself of any time restraints, work stress, or any other bad vibes that can and will ground me once i start to explore. Next I like to choose something, and it could be anything/s that happen to catch my eye and give me a smile right off the bat! After I have stumbled across these little gems I start to reflect on why they grabbed me the way they did... Eventually I narrow these reasons down to something more specific, then, I try to create one myself.... In doing so I get lost in my imagination as I create my own little gem or good vibe... It could come to life as a painting, or music, or a new look for the house, or a the cool hot rod I dreamed about when I was a boy... or what ever... I believe that this is how man-child or Woman-child uses there imagination... But that just me.. And i never was very grounded;) Have fun!

Sit down, close my eyes and think up all the most absurd and ridiculous scenarios.

What's the imagination of a child? I don't think children are more imaginative than adults. It's just what people believe, because when you grow up you just can't be bothered with the fantasy make-believe stuff that cannot come true, and you stop imagining. If adults have as much free time as children and are not burdened by the responsibilities of life, then they have the potential to imagine too. Think of the amazing stories written by adults for children (eg Harry potter books). Adults feed children's imagination with their advanced thinking.

Reading! And creative writing, even if YOU and others don't think you have it in you... START trying it and keep practicing. Partake and MAKE time for a hobby and indulge in it often...

Also, the best one I can think of is to improve your vocabulary. Words are nothing more than mental symbols of ideas, actions, things, occurrences, emotions, experiences, etc... the MORE words you have, the more ideas, actions, things, occurrences, emotions, experiences, etc., accessible to you. They enrich you in so many ways... you understand more of what you hear and read, you express yourself better when you speak and write. And you spend less time studying things, and you also gain confidence and you receive the recognition and admiration of your peers and colleagues at the workplace or school or your social life! You'll also see success come your way more often, too.

Guess what? You do not have to memorize or study anything to improve your vocabulary... all you do is read and try to make sense of what you're reading for 20-30 minutes every night before falling off to bed for about a month, until you finish reading "Word Power Made Easy," by Dr. Norman Lewis. Yes, just READ, do not study or try to memorize anything.

Would YOU sacrifice 20-30 minutes of time to make a life change in a skill that you will have for the rest of your life, one that would enrich your life in many, many, many ways? It's only about a half an hour for only one month out of your whole lifetime... do you have the discipline, the responsibility and passion to want to succeed and develop your own sense of creativity and enhance (or feed) your imagination?

A great sense of imagination is what ALL successful people share in common...along with a great vocabulary, think about it. How far you go is up to you!

Are you ready to let go of some of your ignorance (lack of exposure to worldliness)? See how different life is when you let go of those habits that cause you to fail... remember, what the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the Master calls a butterfly.

The best way to feed your imagination is boredom.

It's strange, but studies have shown that boredom is a natural part of human evolution, and can stimulate our minds to new heights.

Turn off your television and computer, put your cell phone on your desk, and go for a long, long walk and you will see what I mean.

Alternatively, give yourself a long, simple task to do (like washing dishes, or painting a fence) and you will see how your mind wanders. I like to polish my boots to get my imagination going.

the best way for me to feed my imagination is immediately, mostly, a few minutes, before my actual waking hour. My mind is too fertile yet ,unfilled by any gross thinking, and with the surrounding too peaceful, i find myself thinking of good prospects for the rest of the day. That in itself ,starts the ball rolling and will actually dictate the whole tone for the entire day.

My in demand changed into progression cities. we would use previous bricks, bins, inspite of shall we locate for homes. The yards will be embellished with damaged products of glass, rocks, or marbles, and all sorts of alternative stuff. The trees were twigs with leaves cut back from the trees. previous metallic toy autos, autos or tractors from my brothers would stress down roads cut back through the airborne dirt and mud with a hoe. I lived on a farm in NW Texas and we had a lot of floor without grass. Our cities would advance and advance from time to time lasting for weeks earlier we would take all of it down and construct a clean one. Or till Daddy suggested that we were starting up to take over the backyard.
