I use both.

I like them both. Internet explorer is also the basic explorer used by Windows. It is familiar and easy to use.

I think Firefox is a little faster but not always cleaner. It does seem to be a little more free of spyware.

I would try using both and compare your experiences and then decide.

I've used Netscape and Opera and like Firefox better than either of these.

Mozilla Firefox. This is what I use and I can open a total of 120 websites in tabs in dial-up without any problem at all.

I've since ceased using MSIE. My kids use Opera 9.

depends on which version we are discussing here.
I have found that uptil internet explorer 6, firefox does a way better job! however, i am told that IE7 is pretty good (have never used it though, especially since I have now moved fultime to linux)
All I can say is, if you are looking for a secure, fast predictable browser, there may be other options, but you cant go wrong with firefox!

I like Firefox because it's faster and I like the tabs

p.s. doesn't really mean less spyware :) it's just nobody found any yet :) but i'm sure there is, there were few serious onces already, but what i like about firefox is auto update

firefox is much safer and faster.... the best thing is that they provide tonnes of add-ons which makes it efficient..
