It sounds like you need to get a good hold of yourself _ but on the other hand ( which is also very probably, in rapid violent motion too) your public servants in either state may fall for it

Any unemployment you might collect for being laid off [notice i did not say fired with cause or terminated with cause since then you aren't eligible for unemployment] will come from a State fund that is paid into by your employer. So, if your employer is locatedin and paying into the fund in Kansas--like all good businesses in Kansas do-- then that is the fund from which you would receive any compensation.

I would say Missouri. Because after all you only pay state taxes to the state in which you live not the state in which you work.
