You can have a baby at anytime, but normally it's 36 to 40 weeks. My first was at 40 weeks easy 6 hour labor my second two months early emergency c-section and my third I had to have another c-section and was only 1 hour when I went into the hospital and she was 2 weeks early.

First off, keep that baby in there as long as you can. I know your at the miserable phase of your pregnancy, but trust me, it is so not worth it to have a baby early.
I have 7 children, I have had all but two premature. My last baby was born at 31 weeks. He got what is called Necrotizing Enterocolits at 13 days old and lost all but 37 cm of his small intestines. They told us he would not live. He had 7 surgeries, and was in the hospital for 5 and a half months! All because of being premature!

Good Luck!

I had one at 34 and one at 36. If you are 32 weeks, I would say it's safe to pack a bag, it can't hurt to be prepared. My 36 week daughter, I went into labor at 29... Keep in mind you want to do everything you can until you hit 36 to stay pregnant. My 34 weeker had to stay in a NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) for two weeks after she was born because she was premature.

All pregnancies are "NOT" the same. 1st pregnancy; delivered 3 weeks late; c-section. She is now 14yrs old. 2nd: delivered 29 weeks;started getting uteral contraction at 23 weeks, normal delivery 3 1/2 yrs old. And, yes, prepare now, no harm done in beaing ready now.

I was induced 10 days after my due date for my first baby, my second... I went into labour on my own 10 days after my due date. (I was supposed to be induced that day). But every pregnancy is different, I was prepared to go into labour at 5 months! I was so anxious! There's nothing wrong with having a bag ready "just in case". Good Luck!

My son was 39 weeks and my daughter was 37 weeks but she was a c-section. Some deliver early...some late...etc there is no norm... It wouldn't hurt to start packing at least your bag soon...
