200mg is the maximum dosage for this medication.

your body should filter the excess out with no problems but in the future only take the dosage your doctor has prescribed to you. if you don't have a prescription for this-do not take it...

antidepressants can have serious negative side effects in people that don't need to take it...

drink plenty of water to help your body flush out the excess medication. seek medical attention if you start to have the following symptoms

-nausea or severe vomiting
-heart feels like it's racing (palpitations)
-feeling faint or dizzy

you didn't take an extreme amount over the limit for this medication so you should be ok but make sure to have someone watch you over the next 24 hours.

They're right. 200mg is the maximum recommended dosage. You should only be taking it under the guidance of a physician. For me, there was no difference between 50mg and 100mg. Lost weight the first couple of weeks then gained it all back. In my case, unfortunately, I was never able to get an uninterrupted night's sleep and the medication presented it's own set of anxiety symptoms. (Not to mention the near 100% loss of libido!) Other than that, it worked very well. Great for depression. Good for OCD. That's my assessment but results may vary, as they say.

That's a high dose. My drug guide says that 200 mg is the suggested highest dose. In certain circumstances doctors will perscribe higher doses of drugs for different reasons. It's up to the doctor to make these decisions though. Perscription drugs should always be managed by a doctor. How did you get it without being supervised by a doctor?

Don't self medicate or adjust the dose yourself, your Dr should be the one suggesting how much you should take for your height, weight and condition. Dosage differs for each and every person, no one but your Dr can give you an answer over the net.
