That shows the all pervasiveness of corruption. It is no longer is despised by the people. It is no longer hurting your conscience. It is only a degree. If you get caught in corruption, the opposition party will hound you, for that gives them an opportunity to nail him. It does not mean that the opposition party is full of only angels. The other party men wait for an opportunity to catch this fellow in the opposition party. It is moral depravity at its worst.

The real problem with democracy is that for it to work, the people need initiative.
Its easy for someone to read an article in the newspaper/net about corruption in politics, and curse the polititians, the government and everything else related to it.
But it is not so easy for someone to do something about it. That needs people who are willing to stand out. When you visit a government office, would you rather pay a bribe and push your papers through or will you risk not having your papers processed and pull up the clerk who asked for the bribe?
If no one pays the bribe, there will be no corruption. We and our laziness to follow the process are as much responsible as the polititians/government officials are for being corrupt.
Change starts at home. If you want the system to change, you should change first. Otherwise one corrupt polititian gets arrested, and another corrupt one takes his place. Most probably the second one would have been more corrupt, and would have managed to bribe enough people to expose the first one's corruption.

Political leaders know the way how to close the mouths of the media and the people. All corrupt politicians and the government officers know this secret along with the secret of making money. They take suitable measures like, sama, daana, danda etc., to keep the secret buried.
You know in Karnataka both the ruling and opposition level charges of corruption on each other. Both are sailing in the same boat, one may be in mines and another in fake stamps. But, there is no concrete steps to look into this matter and punish the guilty.
Even, the courts don't take any action in these cases. Such cases drag on for years and every one forgets it. (Laloo fodder case, for example). Do you know any corrupt politician punished for his crime.? This is India and only such people will flourish here.

2.There is more unity found in bad people groups.
3. Before election, these leaders give income source and assets position to election commission. This is mandatory, but in fact it is a half truth story. There is no way to examine , verifying and following up way for the election commission. All it has to take what is said.
4 There are so many loopholes and especially when there is no morale and intention to hide your wealth , there are so many ways to do it.For example Bank like Saha..,other financial company do this Job. You may see running so many NBFC which are doing this job.
5. People of this country,we, are also responsible by not asking this question and not supporting them who are asking this question by physically, economically, politically, socially. We only interest talking in our drawing room and following case as they come, forgetting last on. Understand We are poor, really poor and might is right that is why it is going, it will go.

The real problem is why nobody questions the political leaders
as to why there are so many poor people in India even though politicians are in power since 1949.The truth is that the political leaders of India are poor in intelligence,if not in wealth.
