With the exception of last year's super bowl, no it is not fixed. The only way would be to bribe the officials.

How?-is a good question. It's not like doping a horse or shaving a few points in a basketball match. In order to fix a football a lot of people would have to be in on it. Even if the conspirators kept silent, they couldn't control the weather, injuries etc. For example even if the defence deliberately allowed the offence to get within field goal range, a sudden gust could blow everything. What if the key guy in a fix is arrested, injured, fails a drug test, etc. before the big game? Do you go to the backup QB and say...."uh by the way the NFL is all fixed so you are going to have do exactly what the starter agreed to do"?

I don't believe the NFL is fixed and pretty much the only way it could be successfully fixed is to have refs miss calls purposely or have players throw the game. At some point the truth would come out though and people don't want to risk that. NO is a good team, Atlanta is overrated, have been for years.

yes i do think that all football a games are decided before they start if they ever play a real game that will be the same day i pick the winning power ball numbers correctly every week for the rest of my life. Not happening any time soon so why is it they players get paid so much money to fake games should be against the law there are hard working people out there who go to work every day to support there familys and strugle making a honest living yet never come any where close to what they make on top of endoresment money as well.

NFL is definitely fixed, however I don't believe that in everygame. But enough wager is on a certain team, and you have a tipping point in VEGAS. Some players, ref, def cord can be bought, just like any of us. Some of us have a price tag. Some of us are not for sale. A game cannot be fix into perfection, but the most beneficial way to VEGAS and whoever involved. e.g If they can't get the team to win or lose, they may get it to go under or over.
Doesn't any of you wonder why Michael Jordan's father died mysteriously, and the Indy Coach's son. Seriously, tell me he is depressed..a possibly very very popular kid in school with lots of rep, friends and $$ for just being his son. No details whatsover.. Dont' you wonder ? Someone may not be cooperating...

No. Yes it could be. Paying the right players off. For example Superbowl XXX(30) where Neil O'Donnell threw 2 key interceptions directly to MVP, and never heard of again, Larry Brown. He cost the team the game. Steelers fans DIDN'T whine about it though. They just cheered on the team and were so happy to see O'Donnell GONE. They accepted that their team LOST, and it was as fair as it could be. We didn't say well their should be a rematch with a QB that is trying to WIN. We didn't say that the Cowboys STOLE the Superbowl, or that we were the REAL winners. Nope we moved on.

It's not fixed, but with enough influence in the right places, there's potential for it to exist.

I wonder the same thing. I call it the corporate NFL. Like Monday night in New Orleans. The Falcons are clearly the better team, but do you think the NFL is going to let the Saints lose in their first home game since Katrina? A load of bull.

Any team can beat any other team on any given day.
Atlanta is just a bit over-rated
