I am waiting for email responses for more than a week now from the Middle East but it seems most offices or establishments are on holiday, will this last for a month also?

During this period, places still remain in business..... establishments will generally always close for pray time during the day... the main difference during the Ramadan period is the custom of not eating, drinking, mainly a period of fasting, etc during the daylight hours but as for the operation of businesses and establishments they do still run and operate..... so you should still hear a response back....

Actually the organizations will not be closed but they will work only 6 hours per day instead of 8 hours...this may be straight shift or split shift..depends on the company.but in the end of ramadan..all the organization will be closed for 4 days..continuing the last day of Ramadan..

no, the offices dont close for the whole month, a lot do have differnet hours though, for instance my friend has a 4hr break in the day instead of the usual 1hr, they then stay open later to make up for lost working hours,
He works for a travel agency in saudi arabia, some business might be different
I suggest u chase up ur query again
