in km/h, at what speed does the limiter kicks in ? and while i'm at it, did previous models also have the same limit ? thanks a lot !

hmm... well i saw a video on youtube and the Si seems to cap at 156-157 km/h... but i wonder if all versions have it... thats why i'm asking...

The speed limiter, I guess you mean when they cut off your fuel suppy. The computer chip will cut off the fuel supply when you reach very high RPM, the computer will protect the engine and cut off the fuel suppy when you are way over the red line. So, it really have nothing to do with limit you speed. But it should cut it off at about 115mph. You could re-program the chip to bypass this, but if you do not want to blow engine, I won't do it.

I can't answer for an Si but for all the other lower models, there is no reason to put in a limiter, the engines in those cars are not strong enough to propel them much faster than 120 mph.

I have the 2004 Honda Civic LX and I have never heard of this speed limiter. Mine does not have it.

If its a jap import which as far as i know are the only cars to be limited, then it'll be 115mph, which is about 200km/hr

well mine, also a civic, kicks in at 130 mph, so unless you have rated tires for that speed, i wouldnt want to try out my speed limiter, but yeah, 130 mhp.....
