I live in Southern California, I'm thinking about getting rid of them cus they were from High school acne and pregnancy and now the scars are there but no acne. And it's getting visible with makeup. OR can anyone suggests something else besides laser surgery?

For Mark B: I am married, no it's not cause I want to forget the beautiful past I don't regret I had, but to make myself happy and I'm against surgery to look different or be like anyone else, I am for surgery that involves real issues: natural causes. I have lots of youth scars, and I have stretch marks, my boobs aren't C & up, I'm short but I am all natural, besides this problem I am very happy with my Asian woman appearance. So please don't think I want to be better, or to get ahead, it's a natural girl thing.

Moving ahead in life must be a scary feeling. I don't know, maybe my perception is flawed, but that doesn't matter since perception individually makes up 80 percent of our reality. Our inability, as people several generations removed from the first born logical thinker with imposed thumbs,to make a decision for ourselves but rely on the strength of others to stand in front of the dark path with a flash light has successfully separated us from the monkeys. We scratch for a nut every day hoping to one day hit the pay load and do things we hate to earn the all might every circulating dollar. Why do we get up every day to get back on the mouse wheel if we know that at some point some one with more ambition and more powerful friends in higher places gets the promotion that we perceived we deserved. So think about this, if we perceived the world as a girl or boy would we ask for the same life if the opportunity came to us like red screens during intermissions. If we delete our scars and have surgeory to make sure we don't forget the past, even if it reminds us that maybe ("HE" didn't invite us to that dance due to our pimples). If we had no past then we have no future and if the world becomes populated by children for generations to come that have been shown that no one is perfect but if you want to be you need to get rid of all imperfections, forget your own perceptions to adopt those of the collective, and decide that who needs dreams when it is so much easier to allow others to due it for us.

It depends how severe the scars are.

For mild pitted or indented acne scars you could try glycolic acid (although be careful with these) or at home microdermabrasion and healing oils such as camellia oil, rosehip and helichrysum essential oil however it may take a few months to see results depending on their age.

If they're deeper the best would be needling where you prick the indented areas with a sterile needle to breakup old scar tissue and stimulate the natural healing process for healthy skin tissue. You can then help the skin repair properly by applying the above healing oils and copper peptides. It sounds scary but it has real potential to work for indented scars if you do it properly and carefully. If you have keloid (raised) scars don't use this method.

I'm not too familiar with Stretch Marks but I think if they're white there's not much hope. If they're still purplish, you could try the first method I put down. Other things good for scars are Vitamin E, and retin-a (but don't use it if you're having a baby or trying to as it can cause defects).

God's Speed!! :)
