My wife and I were staying in a hotel, when I noticed that she was gone. At 2 am I went looking for her at the lounge. The lounge was closed, but our car was outside. I looked all around the hotel and could not find her. I went back to our room and waited a while and the went looking again. Now it is around 3:30 am. I go back to our car and another car pulls up at the stop sign accross the road. She gets out and the car drives in front of me, so I know it's a guy. Immediately she tells me a crazy story that I find out is a lie. Then she changes her story when I find she was lying. Even her new story doesn't add up. I have bank statements that show when she cashed out of the bar. It is about an hour earlier than when she left. She said she walked around the hotel for an hour drinking beer and then walked to gas station to get cigs. There a guy asked her if she needed a ride and she accepted. She said she lied b/c she was scared. Did she cheat?

You even said she came up with a crazy story, in the beginning. Really now, how often does she accept rides from strangers at 3:30 in the morning?

I believe she cheated. First of all, If she was going to leave the motel room in the middle of the night, she should have told you or left a note. Second of all neither one of her stories add up. And last, her getting out of a car that a guy was driving?

No intelligent woman would take a ride from some random guy at 3:30am...HELLO RAPIST, SURE I COULD USE A RIDE. Confront her again and tell her everything you know so that she knows what you know. And walking around for an hour sounds a little suspicious, she must be a slow beer drinker

Unfortunately it looks like your wife only lies when she opens her mouth. Even her telling you that she lied b/c she was scared is BS. She lied b/c she has something to hide. People that are on the up and up don't lie because they have nothing to hide.
While i don't know if she cheated or not, one thing should be cyrstal clear to you: you can't trust you're wife farther than you can spit.
At best she is guilty of monumental lack of judgement, at worst (and most probably) she is a cheater that is too cowardly to admit to her actions.

Oh God!! How can U sleep with such person? No trust and no respect my friend! U sound like a nice guy.... Find a nice lady who respects U. Yep ! I hate to tell you but, it appears that she was looking for trouble and found it ! That kind of stunt really stinks and you need to sit her butt down and calmly ask her what the hell was she thinking ? You may need to resolve this matter and ( perhalps a few others ) via therapy ! No harm in that cause it could help you two iron out all the wrinkles ! Good Luck !

I guess her male friend was not booked into the hotel, so they had to go someplace else to hump and pump and ride the punani
at least she didn't cheat on you.

I think she's totally lying. If she shouldn't have changed her story for another, then I'd believe her but if she's not lying, why did she have to tell different stories?
I think she cheated on you. I'm sorry. :(
