Why do career women buy into the false hope that they can have it all?

Do they really think that their children are going to grow up as close to them if they are raised in daycares by strangers as if they are raised by one of their own parents?

Are they blinded by ambition and materialism in their youth and believe in the false premise that they can have it all?

I am talking about dual income couples. Not a mother who has to go out to provide for her family but one who seeks extra money by choice.

One thing many of the detractors seem to have in common is that they are all young women. I would definitely value the input of an older career woman for her advice (ie late-30s or older with oldest kid at least 10+).

I am starting to believe that these younger, idealistic women have no idea as to the sorts of tradeoffs I am referring to.

Maybe because they can jerk. Not all career women put their children in daycare services and not all career women decide that path for money. Some do it for family and the hope to bring them out of the gutter. Some do it because their parents raised them to believe in a better life. The life they never had access to. If women shouldn't believe in the "dream" than why should anyone? Are you one of those pigs who believe men can't take care of children and house work is only the female's job? Just because she's a woman, shouldn't account for anything because a child's relationship with a mom is as important as it is for the relationship with the father.

wow, nice going jerk! my mom was a carrer woman and still is and she has it all-family, a job, money she makes, satisfaction at the end of the day, food that she cooked for her family and doing the other one million chores that guys are clueless about. you know what, you can have your parents help you raise your kids-that is how my parents did it- and i turned out fine! i am smart since i have been taught that at an early age and you obviously are so blind in your la la land to realize that women can have it all! why is it so hard to believe? because a guy couldnt do it and could not be in a working woman's shoe for a day if she had it all since it would be too hard? you are as i like to call: arrogant, a jerk, unpolite, stubborn, inconsiderate oh yeah and know nothing about life! women life myself-i am a college student- but i can say that i have it all more than my bf at times! i find time to make good grades, hang out with him, do good in classes, and it annoys guys since they have to work over time. you know what, give it up! in a year and a half i will be a biologist, working in a laboratory and here are some news for you: i can do it all since ambition is a good thing oh yeah, and us women are more driven if we want something bad enough!oh, and by the way more women want to be independent, make their own iincome, have a good satisfaction with therir job as well as to come home to their family...this is not the 1920's but you still have the same menatality and guess what? get a life!

Well, why do men ? Why is it that only women are expected to make a choice between home and family ? Geeze. In one of my classes, some jerk dude asked "Why would a woman start a career if she wants to have children?" Again, I ask you, why then would a man start a career if he wants to have children ?

research from forbes.com shows that career women have a higher chance to cheat on husband, feel unhappy in a marrage, have a higher chance to divorce vs a homemaker.
