Australia and India from Group A and South Africa and Pakistan from Group B.
As per the fixture India, Australia and England are in Group A. The fourth team will most probably be West Indies barring some miracles. In the present form Australia is certain to be in the top of the Table A. Since India got the home advantage, they can definitely come to No. 2 position barring unexpected upsets.
New Zeland, South Africa, Pakistan are al;ready in Group B. Sri Lanka will definitely win the qualifying round and take the 4th place in Group B. In this group there will be close fight for the 1st and 2nd spot. Considering the team strength, I feel South Africa and Pakistan will emerge from this Group.

it cant be said exactly. Australia with out any doubt will be one for they are the world champians from the same group depends on who is the second qualifier. If it was SRL then Ind might be the second team in the group they can beat the loose eng team and fight hard against SRL and be second. But if WI are Qualified for this group then they will be second. Moving on to the next group NZ is unpredictable then may play beter after their long break or play like a minnows cant say so PAK and SAor WI if they qualify for this group.

Aus & Ind / WI
Pak & SA / WI

Simply because they are the four best ODI sides in the world atm. I would also pick AUS, PAK, SA for World cup semi's, but replace SL with WI - because of local conditions, home crowd favourtitism etc in the West Indies.

Australia being in good form, Pakistan is also doing good with a refurbished pace attack, India will have a home advantage and Sri Lankans being a tough opponent in the sub-continent pitches.

Australia...coz they are always among the best...though the current aussies team may not be unbeatable but certainly no problem in getting into the semis
South africa...nice one day combination...blend of experience of youth..bit weak in bowling department...but its backed up with good batting n fielding..n certainly ver well planned game strategy...match winners in the form of..boucher n smith
Pakistan...always ben a god one day sid...and this one feels is the strongest one day squad of pakistan after 1999...they have some real quality in batting n bowling both...all rounders r expcted 2 play a key role as well....but opening n fielding is yet a point of serious concern
WEst indies....coz they again r a vry nice one day side.....they have the ability 2 back thier bowlers up with marvellous batting...lacks seriousness...but very talented...!!

PAKISTAN : Its a team that is very better in cricket and ranks at 2nd number. they have talent and has god to help them.....they have excellent stlylish batting....i think as a pakistani i will always see good things in pakistan....so i will luv my mother land to get in the finals...they will sure reach there...thats a bet with the ones who say no..
INDIA : i am choosing this team as pakistan's biggest rival in cricket and it will be fun to see them in the finals...i am also choosing this team cause after pakistan they r my favourites as my motherlands neighbours...and they also have tallented batsmen that sure make us happy..
as far if u want to c someone in the semi-finals so it can be...
AUSTRALIA : they r no.1 and can keep the same confidence and team work but they have changed alot now...
WEST INDIES : i like them when i saw them in the DLF cup...they beat india and came in finals...
