The non-material is in fact more "real," in the sense of more long-lasting and more truly who you are. Have you seen "The Book on the Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are" by Alan Watts?

The you that's real is the you in the present. The past is forever removed from our reality, accessible only as imperfect memories. The future is likewise always out of our reach, for by the time it gets here, it is no longer the future, but the present.

like the cycle of life, an end has a beginning and a beginning, an end. in reality, which is truth? which is valid? which is perceive as finite or infinite?

the actualization of life as it unfolds to you is the realization of truth. any astounding claim are then considered a fantasy, right? or a dream.... thus when someone claims the spirit moves on and that the reality and truth is that is where or what life should be or begin with. but the reality is, can you enjoy spreading knowledge or wisdom then? can the actualization of sorrow take place? can you experience sadness when your already a spirit? didn't they claim souls are mere images of happiness? these claims can never be refuted however for we never know its validity. nor can we claim of its actual truth without proof of it.

in a sense, emotional feelings are said to be real. whenever you can feel, touch... that is reality. whatever you can share, impart with... that is reality. in death or in spirits, you can never share it. thus the reality ends.

Ahhhh, nothing ever disappears, only changes for. Same goes for the flesh that disappears into the Earth and becomes part of the Ecosystem. Just as the soul carries on in another form, bodies are just housing for the soul.

What makes you think that you're infinite? Philosophers rarely believe in an after life. Maybe my link can shed some light on the subject?

depends on your definition of "real". since definitions are relative to the environment that defines them, then "you" are very "real" in each realm.

And, you can trust your habitual mind to perform according to how you've trained it (or not)...
