If Ward can find sufficient sponsorship, I think that there is a team that would hire him as the driver. The prime candidate right now would be Robert Yates Racing. There is speculation AGAIN that they may be ready to make an announcement.
I wish they would get things settled already. I want to see Ward back in a race car.

Robert Yates Racing is considering using three drivers in the
#88 car next season. they were talking about Ward Burton, Ricky Rudd and, if He would be interested, Mark Martin but, its not
official yet.

As far as I know, he is not going to be racing in 2007 but his name has been tossed around for a couple of rides.

i think he may sign with Yates Racing and drive the 88....Ward is a good driver he just needs some refreshers
