ok my ps2 will not read ps2 games but it will read ps1 games so if you know any way at all on how to fix it plz tell me thanks

Recite the Lord's Prayer seven times and burn Sonic the Hedgehog in effigy. If that doesn't work, try kicking the thing a few times.

The same thing happened to me, the best thing to do is to get a new one, or a used one from your local game store.

Welcome to my world, I'm on my third PS2 since it came out. I'm switching to X box after this! These things never work and there's never anything you can do besides a simple CD cleaner for your laser lense.
