Methuselah was supposedly over 800 years old, maybe over 900.

The oldest-ever person was Jeanne Calment, a French woman who lived for 122 years and 164 days. Maximum life span for humans has remained about 115−120 all through known history, despite steady improvements in life expectancy.

There is also a biblical reference in Hebrews about Methuselah who reached the age of 969

I haven't checked for a while, but an older "Guiness Book of World Records" listed a Japanese man who lived 120 years. There are many claims for older people than he was, but none are certain. Some say Methuselah was oldest, but that's just fantasy. If you include myths, some Persian shahs were said to live 12,000 years. I know what the Bible thumpers will say, and I reply to them that the Persian shahs are as real as Methuselah. In other words, they're all wild tales.

the oldest age in history is Matusalem, he lived for 969 years, he is the father of Lamec, and the grand father of Noah.... huh. I think many people don't recognized him as the oldest age of man have ever reached, because many would say what is the proof.. well i'll tell you now, there is a proof, the proof is the Bible. if your not believing on me, you are also not believing on the word of God.

I think Elijah never died, he was just taken up by chariots into Heaven.Or was that Elisha? One of those guys.
Another man in the Bible that seems to have lived forever was the Priest Melchisedek. Back in the early Bible there some ages that go beyond 500 years. Believe it or not this is recorded history.
