to chose your friends carefully, learn from your family, ponder unpon life, discuss real issues with those that matter and make a difference and the best reward is the power of knowledge...or that you learned something new and you can see the world from a different perspective and have a new appreciation for life and to never stop learning. those who stop learning lose a lot but those who keep on learning are seen as more than they are in the eyes of the beholder.what the quote is saying is that power, intellect, and the desire to do good as well as to learn will make you strive for more and when you die you will die knowing that you did what you liked and made a difference.
