Well, you're on the right track by simply acknowledging that you have a problem. Having done this, you must not simply identify the behavior you want to change. You have to go a step further and specify more desirable alternative behavior. Think of more desirable words and/or behavior that you would like to have in place of your undesirable behavior and vocabulary. Then when the impulse to swear arises, replace that impulse with more positive behavior. Each time you slip, apologize and apply the more positive behavior. In time the negative behavior will disappear.

As for leadership, leadership always begins with respect for others, so you're already moving in the right direction. The first step is self control in the way you relate to others. As simple as it may sound, following The Golden Rule will take your far in that respect. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Respect for others is a major factor in leadership. Don't force limitations on others that you are unwilling to accept for yourself.

Positive, respectful communication is also a leadership quality. This doesn't simply mean expressing yourself well; it also means being a good listener to others' ideas and concerns. Leadership is about relationships, so establish and maintain relationships in a positive way with positive people. When you think you have a good idea, don't be afraid to respectfully express it. Be a visionary, but don't be afraid or too proud to enlist the help of others in your attempts to make good things happen. Also, accept your own imperfections and be gracious in accepting criticism from others. Always strive for self improvement. Leaders are not born; they are developed. You can become a leader if you simply continue to strive to do so.

It doesn't matter how old you are once you realize you need to change you are ready.

Good for you taking the first step by acknowledging you want to change.

Try babysteps. Tell yourself and remind yourself again and again don't swear. When you start swearing, apologzie and move on. Next time, try again. Tell yourself not to, remind yourself.

Always respect everyone elders and classmates. You will find yourself happier overall. Once you respect others they will respect you. It's a great feeling.

hmmmm.. not too sure. the only thing i can say is try to "shut up" more. and listen instead.

try these when u want to scream at someone.

The fellow who thinks he knows it all is especially annoying to those of us who do.

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

An eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind.

For every cuss word try and come up with a different word.

Like went I want to say Oh puck it or go shoot a monkey.

Just like with any habit it will take time and work to break it.

Create nonsense "curse words" for your self that don't mean anything to somebody else that you can say when you are frustrated. This could actually be a lot of fun for you, as you could make up your own crazy words. I'll give you one for starters" "ROWRBAZZLE!!!" How's that for silly? These words might even be so silly that they make you laugh, and cheer you up so that you don't feel like cussing!

Try thinking about what you are about to say before you open your mouth.
