can a sim card from a nextel phone be used in the V3 razor phone?

Nextel uses the iDen technology, and your RAZR is using the GSM technology. They are in no way compatible with one another. Even if your RAZR would see the Nextel SIM card, the RAZR would be unable to access the Nextel network....ala no service.

The only reason one might want to put a Nextel SIM card into a GSM phone, would be for purpose of accessing the address book. Unfortunately, this information is stored in a different-enough way, that not even address book information will be read by the wrong type of phone.

To recap:

Any unlocked GSM phone will be able to read any GSM SIM Card.

However: Only an iDen compatible phone will be able to read a Nextel SIM Card.

I cant provide you articles or web pages i visit merely provide you own adventure.you should use your Sim in any nextel telephone you locate available locked or unlocked see you later as you save the same form telephone(it truly is slightly complicated) once you've a i90 and purchase a i205 it gained't artwork,or it truly works yet some stuff receives tousled like contacts and information on the Sim,yet once you've a i205 and purchase a i605 you do not have any project.the phone been unlocked has no longer something to do because you could not use an iDEN telephone with the different agency than Telus,advance and Nextel.about your settlement been affected like between the solutions say is a load of cr@p because the merely project they could see is a IMEI form and they don't look at those to be certain what telephone you've because imei would get replaced really basic.If no longer i'd be with my settlement for 20+yrs because i replaced my telephone 10 situations in a year till settling with the i870 and this telephone i have been given on eBay and it worked as quickly i positioned my Sim in it.the merely complications you'll locate should be the shortcoming of your ringtones and wallpapers that you had on the former telephone except for so that you could no longer have any project and in case you do should be minor something which will be resolved really basic.

Nope, your card has to match your service provider. Nextel, or even Sprint for that matter, doesn't have a razor so I presume it does not match. You can buy a sim card for 25 bucks at Radio Shack.

It should because I used a sim card from my samsung to my nokia, It should automatically register as long as it is not blocked

no you can't because sprint cellphone doesn't use sim card.
