Only if one of you is infected. It is more likely that transmission will be from male to female due to the "mechanics" of intercourse. If you are both faithful to each other and are both non-infected you should have nothing to worry about, but it DOES make sense to get tested - just to be sure - and you might want to use a condom just to be on the safe side for a while as it can take a while for symptoms of some STDs to show up, and some of them may not show symptoms for a long time, which is why chlamydia is such a problem right now - the symptoms can be mild or even nonexistant. Play it safe, and be faithful to each other, and you should both be just fine.

You have to test and then test again in 6 months and trust that both of you are monogomous in the relationship with each other. If either one of you had any sexual relations in the past 6 months with others then even if it's negative now, that can change. It takes up to 6 months to show if it's positive. You could check the CDC website for their recommendations too.

How do you claim that both of you are clean? Did you carry out blood test for sexually transmitted disease? Did you carry out urine test? What was sexual activity of both of you, before you came together? You must carry out tests of your penis and your girl friend her vagina.
Are both of you getting married or are both of you are going live together without marriage? Unprotected sex will result in pregnancy unless and until your girl friend lost the capacity to bear children. Probably, you are thinking in terms of pills for your girlfriend.

If you really are both clean than no.
Then again... diseases such as herpes may lie dormant without any physical manifestations and can still be transmitted without any external wounds
( 'getting checked out' at a clinic does not mean that it is necessarily checked for)

Both of you might be clean, but theres a chance one of you might have had sex with someone else that is not. I am not saying that happened, but to be sure you should have safe sex.

Some consider life to be a sexually transmitted disease...so if she gets pregnant, then yes.
