I don't have any problems with Animal Farm by George Orwell, but I noticed on the banned book list that it wasn't there. Any one have a reason why?

The banned book campaign was mostly community driven whereas a city council or school committee would not allow it be purchased for a public library or available to school children. Yes books have been banned nationwide in the first half of the 20th Century for being "obscene" or an affront to American Values. Such books were not allowed to be printed domestically or imported into the US.
