Depending on what you would like to do, whether staying more technically oriented or moving into business management.

Personal experience tells me that a people who stay on the technical track are often under-appreciated. Even if one do move up to technical manager ladder, there is only one CTO and one CIO in a company (most of time there are no distinction between the two). On the other hand, there are a lot more options for business management. Besides there is always a shortage of someone who is both technologically and business savvy.

Before you jump into MBA, however, consider how you will use your degree and whether you would like to function in business management roles. I've seen many techies found they don't really like dealing with business side of things (or are terrible at it due to their personality) after invested the time and effort to obtain their MBAs. What a waste of money and time!

Good luck.

that is a tricky question... both are pretty well suited for an IT career, however MBA may be better, because afterall, you are not designing softwares, but managing them

mostly, it depends on the company, and what kind of a role they want you to play, personally, if i decide to get into the IT line, i would do BBA with some strong programming courses to go with that, and then probably take my MBA
