Metallica got really big in the early 90s, but later they sued their fans, so they're the #1 suck.
Nirvana, RHCP, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, pretty much any alt-metal-punk got overplayed, and however good they were at first, the thousandth time I heard them, they sucked.
Backfat Boys, 98 Disease, N'stink, all the boy bands sucked. So did all pop divas.
the Spice Girls sucked, I might've wanted to hear them screaming my name, but I didn't want to hear them sing.
