I mean good job, a retirement plan (for his sake and my peace of mind )virtually no debt, mortgage is fine, no such responsibilities such as child or spousal support, family member who take advantage of him, and the such.
I am traditional in the sense that I expect the man to be able to provide financially for the family -- not that I would not work but that he is able in case I become a mother I would like to feel secure in the sense that he could provide for me if I decide to stop working for a few months to nurture my baby.

I don't think it is that difficult to find such a man but to find such a man and be in love with the man, now that might be harder! I know many men who have their careers going and manage their retirement fund and other investments but these men work at their careers and put in more than 40 hours a week and are not at home as much as they would like. Those are the tradeoffs.

Depends, how difficult is it to find someone like yourself? How old are you and so on?

You are too strict here. There is sometimes difficulty finding work, but wanting him to have a good job seems fine. However, a retirement plan? What if his good job doesn't offer one? It doesn't mean he isn't saving. No debt sounds good and often people have had enough work not to have debt. That's doing better than the USA, by the way. Mortgage is fine?? What about other residing options? He has to own a house? Do you want the person -- or the person's possessions?

You never can be guaranteed financial security. It's great to go for someone who cares enough to work toward that if he believes in it though. What do you offer in return?

Should be easy these days. Young millionaires and financially secure men are everywhere these days due to the fast paced internet life and fast profits made on the internet. Myself am only 28 and am already wealthier than my entire family combined.

Surrond yourself by successful people and frequent upscale bars and social events to find the man!
