10997-Allows the siezure and control of all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels, and minerals.
10998-Allows the siezure and control of all food resources and farms.
11000-Allows the mobilization of citizens into work brigades under government supervision.
11001-Allows the siezure and control of all health, education, and welfare functions.
11002-Designates the Postmaster General to operate national registration of all persons.

When these are implemented, Congress is not to meet for 6 months.

So do you think we should have to destroy the country to save it?

The constitution itself was a piece of shiite that was illegally drawn up and railroaded through with less popular support than ross perot, so losing it would be no big deal. At the time, though, it was considered a disaster by the average person, who realized that the constitution just robbed them of the rights they had just paid for in blood. However, they got used to it, and today, no one even worries about it. I suggest you don't either.
