You will have to get the new card. If you try to install a driver for a card that is not in your computer, it could create some serious problems with your system.

Hope this answer helps you out.

A game shouldn't be asking for a specific card. It's probably telling you the minimum required if anything.

You didn't include what kind of card you have now. I'm assuming that your GPU (graphic processing unit) is built into the motherboard. If so, then it's probably nowhere close to being powerful enough to satisfy this game. You can try lowering the detail and screen resolution in the game's settings, but your best bet will likely be to buy a new video card that meets the requirements. Don't go overboard here, because your PC appears to be outdated. There's no sense dropping a ferrari engine into a Chevy cavalier if you catch my drift...

This site is also not a good one for relaying information back and forth, as I probably won't be checking this question again. I recommend you visit a site like www.tek-tips.com where you can easily chat back and forth in a thread-like fashion.

Well first off,

Your computer does not meet the minumum requirements. If it asks for a GeForce 5500 or better video card, and you do not have that and or something better. It most likely will not run due to DirectX compatibilty.

So basically if you would like to play the game, you should ask your computer "engineer" to see if your system is PCI, AGP, or PCI-E based. When you find that out, you should be able to pick a graphics card for your system and it should work no problem as long as your Power Supply is decent enough to handle it.

Video/Graphic Cards are basically cards that have the sole purpose of doing graphics. You will need to get someone to put a new card in. By the way the GeForce 5500 is the minimum, but definately get something better, that card is very old and your graphics will not be that great. Tell your engineer something in the GeForce 7000 series if possible.
