Why don't you want to be a journalist anymore and how can we trust that you won't quit this job, if a better one in the media industry comes along soon?

I said that that section of my career was in the past and as much as I enjoyed it, I didn't want to keep heading down that path. I then said that I chose that career when I was very young and only through experience, learned that it wasn't meant for me.

I wanted to answer the question without sounding too negative and like too much of a quitter. I guess it worked because i got the job, although they put me on quite a long probation period as they were nervous I was going to nick off if I got a better offer from a newspaper.
