Kelly is the most successful in terms of album and ticket sales, but I like Carrie Underwood better because she was one of the artists that taught me to love country. Her songs are also very inspirational and have a hint of Christianity in it, but doesn't imply it. I like songs like that because it connects with secular and Christian audiences.

Kelly Clarkson, hands down.
No one else has comparable talent. While I do like a couple songs by Carrie Underwood, I heard her perform live last month at a temporary second job that I had recently and I'm sorry to say but she could not sing to save herself. I don't know if it was just a bad evening or she doesn't sound that great without studio help or what.
Also, one of my sister's former coworkers met Kelly recently and said she was the nicest person and there wasn't any attitude about her at all, which can't really be said for most other celebs.

Kelly. She's the only success. After the first one, it didn't matter what the judges said, the ones with the most fans could've simply went out and gotten signed to a record label. Elliott for example. He had tons of fans. If he got a record deal, He'd do well.

It's obvious Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood have been doing good but I like Rueben a lot. He was a big velvet teddy-bear and his voice was awesome! I also liked Fantaisia and Taylor Hicks had Loads of personality..but my favorite one is Rueben:)

Kelly Clarkson she has the best vocals and is appealing to the mass audience. She is a good entertainer.

i like Kelly but she's stuck up now, she wanted her songs off the idol. she has good voice, music album but i dont like her attitude. without the show, she wouldn't have a chance to be a star. she would still be a ticket seller at theatre.
