I am forty and I went from one-thiry-five to one-sixty in a year and I stay hungry all the time and dont know what to do. I't not only teenagers that worry about there weight it's women in general. I hope this helps you but out in your project but I would be willing to say women worry most about there weight than men. Men seem to be more comfortable in there bodies than women because women feel they have an image to keep.

I'm worried about losing anymore weight. I'm around 96-97 lbs. now, 5'5" and 15 years old. According to my doctor I'm over 30 lbs. underweight but I play 3 sports and dance. I also have a high metabolism so it's incredibly hard for me to even gain a pound and I usually end up losing it after a week or so.

I'm 38 and was chubby as a teen which made me extremely conciencous about my weight. I'm not over weight now, but I do think about every bite of food I put into my mouth. I'm no spring chicken any more and I have to consider my health when eating now.

15 years ago, I used to worry that I was a little pudgy, and could stand to lose about 30 pounds.

Now, thanks to BMI I don't worry at all anymore! I'm OBESE, and actually have to lose close to 100 pounds to be "normal!"

So I've stopped worrying about my actual weight, and simply worry about how often I work out, how many push-ups and sit-ups I can do, and whether I can still round-house kick someone in their head!

By the views of society we classify ourselves accordign to our weights. Thin is powerful. Therefore, we strive for it or criticize it. As Americans, obesity is an epidemic. And this is destroying our nation.

Lets say "Who ISN'T concerned with their weight these days, with such a weight concious society." We ridicule those who are over weight...and then when we become overweight...we ridicule the skinny people.
