The millions they make from us should be shared with hospitals, police and army, farms, construction... the things that matter more than entertainment. I'm sure a performer could live just fine with just 150 grand a year.

Because Americans as a society worship them. We are willing to pay for what they do. Some have talent, some don't, but that seems irrelevant when it comes to who and what we choose to worship.
There are alot of people that are wealthy that are not performers. People find their niche and stick to it. Some make and some don't. My opinion, if you are willing to work hard and create a desire for what you provide you deserve to be rich.
Alot of people that have wealth share it. Charities are big recipients of celebrities wealth, as well as other wealthy people. Case in point, Bill Gates. I live in Seattle and I see what his wealth does for this city every day.

they earn it and the right to do with it as they please.....many of these celebrities donate big time money to many causes and alot of them also give millions to established non profits and help people of all walks of life, i have heard that many of them also establish a non profit agency or organizations to help kids, elders, and many with illness . look around and you Ill see they help alot

I understand very well what you're saying, but in (some of) their defense, many contribute to charities, youth groups, single family homes (single moms), etc. yet we seldom or NEVER hear about it.

That is called communism, my friend. And that is not the American way.
Why should they be forced to do those things with the money? It's theirs. If they can't do those things willingly, then who needs their dam money????

because they work hard for their money and i am a military wife so if you want to help out the military then pay more taxes or help get the taxs evened out better because TAX PAYERS PAY OUR WADGES AND WE GET PAID MINIMUM WADGE
