what kind of necklace will i buy, gold or silver?

I prefer SILVER... I'm light skinned so silver kinda looks better on me.
Someone with a tan or dark skinned... they definately look great in GOLD! But they can also pull off the silver look too... lucky bums :P... I hate gold but some of the jewelry is just soo friggin' pretty...

for darker toned skin = GOLD!!!!
for medium = both, either or
light/pale = silver
when people think church or classier fashion then GOLD is the way to go. Silver can too be classy, but it does not have the same appeal. SILVER is appealing but it is not the first color or metal you think when you picture a millionaire or think paris hilton yeah?
can't decide? get WHITE GOLD. that way you have the best of 2!!!!

I think silver is much nicer. It suits more clothes and makeup and skin tones. Gold is kind of trashy looking in my opinion, unless it's white gold, that's really nice. But yellow gold and rose gold are pretty nasty in my opinion. Choose what you like though, who cares what we think?

Daily, silver is easy to clean and afford it.
Special occasions, gold also is an investment.

what's significant is the affection which you have! no count if is gold or silver, you may have a sturdy ring and a broke coronary heart or haven't any ring and happiness! yet once you may decide for, decide for gold! It lasts extra!

Silver looks great with black and other dark colors.
Gold looks great with lighter colors and browns.
It depends what you plan to wear it with.
Here's a thought.... how about white gold? or a multi-metal necklace?
