The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, however, a truly spectacular but little known bridge is in Redding, California. It's the Sundial Bridge designed by Santiago Calatrava. The bridge spanses the Sacramento River and has a glass deck on it. Very beautiful. Especially at night when the deck is lit.

Depending on who you ask, really. I'd say it's the Golden Gate Bridge, followed by the Brooklyn Bridge

Golden Gate Bridge and then Brooklyn Bridge...

But I think if you look back that the Brooklyn Bridge was more than likely constructed first wasn't it? I don't know...! Just ignore that last statement!

I like the Mackinac bridge dividing the Upper and Lower Peninsula of Michigan. I think it is beautiful both at day and night and when the weather is clear you can see over to Mackinac Island. Last I knew it was the worlds longest suspension bridge at just over 5 miles.
