Is it possible that you're pregnant? Usually women can tell before they miss their periods because their breasts are sore, tender and heavy.

What have you been eating? You could be retaining water. It happens to me every other month. They swell and are very painful. Depending on what I eat (high salt content) and how much I have been exercising, they will either hurt or they won't.
If it continues, find an OBG/YN
