3x+9=0
3x= - 9
x=-3
It is a vertical line through (-3,0), parallel to y axis. So the slope is undefined.

Well for calculating Slopes you must have Y co-ordinates , so the

3x +9 = 0
3x = -9
x= -9/3
x = -3

Hi!
The slope always is the coefficient of x, when you have an equation in the form: mx+b=y, But when you have it in the general form, which is this case Ax+By+C=0... the slope is m=-A/B, since B=0, then m= infinite...
that is your slope... not indefinite, infinite, which is not the exact same thing.

Find the derivative
f'(x) = (3) X to the power of (3-1=2)
= 3X square - - - - - - That is my final answer

Derivative means change means slope

3x+9=0
3x = -9
x = -3
this is a line parallel to the y-axis intersecting the x axis at -3.
Effectively, it means that for any value of y, the value of x is always -3.
Since slope is (diff in y ) / (corresponding diff in x)
the value of its slope would be undefined because the denominator would be zero.

m=3
Proof:
Since 3x+9=0
then y=3x+9,
We have the standard form of equation for the a line,
y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept of the line.
then from the equation, m=3.

There is an easy method.Slope of any equation=-a/b
So,slope=-3/9=-3
But this is a line parallel to x-axis.So, the slope does not exist.

this is the equation of the line x=-9/3.
as you can see, it's a line parallel to the y axis, therefore, it has the same slope as that of the y-axis, BUT the y-axis has an undefined slope, therefore, the answer is undefined.

the formula for the slope is -y integraldivided by x-integral.
so the answer for this question is -9 divided by 3 that is
-3
