power supply or battery?

how much does it cost to get the power supply fixed? my laptop shuts down on its own and now somethings wrong with the power supply/battery coz even when the ac power is plugged in the battery sometimes doesnt charge and sometimes the light that indicates that ur laptop is plugged in the ac is not coming on. pls help:(

Depends whats wrong with it. You might have to buy a new power pack. It could also be the port the plug goes into. On my laptop one of the connectors broke. If thats the case, you can probably just solder it yourself.
