I guarantee you that Kobe is the best Shooting Guard who currently plays for the Lakers in the NBA.

That's about it.

Pound for Pound, with Lebron James coming in at a close second. Here are some reasons: Bryant is the most clutch performer in the league, although Lebron has won a hand full of games, he is not as proven as Kobe is, and the fact remains that James' jumper is suspect. Also, compare the team that the Lakers put on the floor every night to the Cavs. Lebron has a proven second scorer in Larry Hughes, a former all-star in Zydunas Ilgauskas, who is still able to contribute 15 to 16 points consistently. The Lakers on the other hand are still trying to find some consistency in Lamar Odom and Kwame Brown. Also, Kobe is a excellent on-the-ball defender, where as James is a passing lane defender. The difference is an on-the-ball can shut down a player throughout the game. Kobe's will to win alone puts him in a higher class than James.

Best 2 Guard in the NBA. Not the best player, I believe that title goes to Lebron James. Before Lebron you could argue that Kobe was the best player in the league. He still should have won MVP for last season.

Dude, we all know he can "score" (especially on the road). Hell, he'll take on anybody! What I think he enjoys the most, though, is coming from behind to "win the game"!
