Absolutely! For as far back and as long as I can remember, people have always leaned on me. I guess i am just a good listener, sad part is no one ever wants to listen to me. It's all been take and no give. Everywhere i go and everywhere i look, It's the same old crap. I'm surrounded by "It's all about me", "what can you do for me" types. In their pursuit of self indulgence, they can gradually suck the very life out of you. The older I have gotten the more worn out i feel. I too, have to take some "me time" and regroup. If i could receive only a fraction of what i have gladly given, I would be truly blessed. Peace2U.

OH YEAH! I'm a family counselor seeing 12 families with multiple issues. Then there's MY family, keeping up with friends and a very difficult breakup with my now ex-boyfriend, plus his crazy ex-girlfriend who is obsessed with me!
Sometimes I just come home in the middle of my day, get in bed and pull the covers over my head hoping everyone will just GO AWAY!!!
Wow... I need a vacation...

Sometimes. That is why i take a break and just be alone sometimes. To rejuvenate.
Treat it as a challenge in life for us to learn how to deal with various kinds of people.

i'm a working wife and mother of 6. i work as a waitress at a pizza joint. EVERYBODY wears me out but i'm happy at what i do so it's all worth it to me. :)

I must be a good listener because they dump alot on me. I don't mind if it makes them feel better but many times I feel drained.
