what program are you using? and have you tried slowing down the burn speed? I find Nero to be a good program for whatever I am trying to burn. I had a problem burning some cd's a while back, and I slowed the burn speed from 8x to 2x and didn't have any more problems. good luck :)

I would first try doing an update on the program. Maybe you installed or uninstalled something that made changes to the program. It's also possible the program itself became corrupt or the files did. Try updating the program, and check the settings on the program itself to see if you may have changed anything by accident. Try burning the disc at a slower speed, that will case errors a large majority of the time. If you still have problems I'd contact the program site and see if they have any help forums. You could also reinstall the program. Hope this helped. Good Luck!

Couple of things you can do:
1. Did you switch to new dvd/cds? (switch back)
2. Uninstall and reinstall burning software
3. Update firmware for your dvd/cd burner
4. Reboot and try again

I'd try these first, if you can remember the error, google it to find a more specific path

Good Day. Most likely a software problem. Get nero or roxio but prefarably Nero. One of yur friends shud have it. If u already have it, uninstall the software and reinstall and try from there. If nothing at all, maybe is a hardware problem. Make sure u buy those cd disk cleaners to clean the laser lens in the drive. Laterz.

Well, the last time I checked there is 10 pts for a best answer whether you liked it or not.... its called voting.

To answer your question.... its pretty difficult to know what is wrong, whether it be the drive or software. What software... what brand of drive... is it DVD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R....have you run PC-Doctor or any other tests?? You must include more info if you want a "good" answer.

your cd/dvd burner might be broken or the cd/dvd you use to burn the file you want is not that good. because sometimes burning choose the kind of cd it want to burn in. so try switching to another cd and if still doesn't burn, your burner might be really broken.
