Quite funny, but a little wrong. It depends on how mischievous you feel when you get a wrong number.
Some years ago my partner had several calls in person from J's Witnesses. Her reply was always "I'm sorry but I have to go to town. I, a blood donor you know".She was a donor by the way.

Definitely funny! She deserved it for being so rude to your wife. Although I do feel sorry for the person at the pizzeria who answers her phone call wanting to know why she hasn't gotten her pizza yet. It's still funny though.

I think your darling needs to complain to the cell company and get a new number!
Granted, your stunt on that one woman was funny as anything...but it's got to be really annoying for your darling.

That's hilarious! That reminds me.....a friend used to keep getting a wrong number and she finally said "Oh, she just dropped dead. Sorry." and hung up!
