I have the Bose Triport headphones but one side is louder than the other so it's obviously time for new headphones (it's definitely the headphones--same problem when I turn it around and it's not the computer, balance is fine with other headphones).

So I am looking to buy new headphones. I would like to spend no more than $100. Preferably $60. Any ideas?

I am looking for ones to use at home, so I'm guessing an appropriate one will be somewhat large and fits over the ear. I am not looking for earphones.

eww. try the creative aurvanas or the creative ep-630's. the ep-630's are about $30 and many revies say that there beter than alot of earphones that are 4 times as much. and the aurvaans are hi fidelity and 90% ambient noise reduction. and creative is the worl wide leader in sound technology. belive me if there mp3 players are awesome. the sound is even better. go to amazon.com and search there. plus these two earphones have crisp clear VERY clear sound and awesome bass. and very comfortable.

Sony MDR-XD200

I have a pair and in my opinion they sound almost as good as the bose.

Amazon has them for $20, Target $30, and cheaper on eBay.

Sennheiser PX-100's

The best bang for the buck, in my humble opinion.

You might also look into some Grado SR-60's or 80's.
