if i could change my partner it would be that she could see herself as i see her, sexy, loving , desirable and very, very, very hot. she is 52 and thinks very poorly of herself. this woman still takes my breath away and just the sight of her gets me excited

I'm in my 40's too.
I have learned that you love the person for themselves.
Yes, there are probably are some things that you would like to change in them, But then they would no longer be the person you fell in love with.
I accept the peson as they are and not for what I want them to be.
Love them as they are and not as they are'nt.
