I hope so, and I think so, he had such bad luck at the beginning of the season, he deserves to win.

If anyone could do it, it would be Vale. Rossi's mission is similar to Michael Schumacher's catch up game in F1. And Michael is almost there with 3 races to go. Valentino has the talent, and his Yamaha is competitive now (maybe not as good as the Ducati, but Hayden doesn't ride a Ducati). So even if Vale gets the next 2 second places behind a Ducati, which is very likely to happen, he needs to get a few positions between himself and Hayden. As of today, Vale is the champ because the momentum is on his side.

Pedrosa did what I said he would by pushing a 990cc like it was a 250. His crash took him out of the competition as far as I'm concerned, though I'm sure he'll still ride hard.
Rossi is looking better as the season progresses, and it's too bad Yamaha had to hose up the bike for the first few races.
It's been fun to watch Hayden learn Moto GP, and though he's had a killer season it seems like something's wrong lately. Either his bike's not running right or he's getting cold feet, like he's more scared to crash and lose than to fade out of the lead 6 points at a time! C'mon, Nicky- it's all or nothing. Quit riding like a pansy and show us you can win!
Whether it's Nicky or Valentino, I don't have a preference at this point.

Go Rossi, at Laguna Seca it looked like he would finally lose his crown, but he has fought back strongly and is closing right up on Hayden.
