It's impossible to pick just one. Art is Life, it's everywhere, it's in everything. I paint, draw, and I'm a photographer, I also do a lot of graphic art and I can't live without music! except country....makes my ears bleed! ugh!

I had the good fortune when I was in my twenties to work in a road house where I saw all manners of performing art - b'way shows, ballet, modern, opera, folklorico, you name it. Our hall did 250 performances a year and I was there for seven years, first as a stage hand, then as a stage crew chief and finally as an ATD where I supervised but also got to design.
I decided to get my MFA in Theater and there discovered the amazing world of Modern Dance. This is because it is New Work and interdisciplinary by nature. Designing for new work is the most stimulating engagement I've ever been involved in.

And ... I've been designing for Modern Dance for almost 17 years. It's taken me to NYC, Boston, Hong Kong and, of course, Los Angeles where I live.

In the course of this work, I've learned to love and respect all the performing arts and also spend time at the Getty Museum and the Norton Simon and the Huntington because now I "see" so much more and can now understand Fine Art to some extent, certainly appreciate it.

So I've spent 24 years of my life in some kind of theater but my true joy is New Work and in my context, Modern Dance.

Merde!

All of the above. Any kind of art you get yourself into whether it is theatre arts or drawing and writing. It is all special and beautiful in their own ways, they cannot compare, and I could not choose! I guess my favorites are dancing and music, any performing arts. Something that is expressing in movement. But I appreciate paintings and visuals because seeing is a gift that I take for granted, and it is something that comes from deep in the soul. I love it all!

I like photography the best. I think maybe that's because taking pictures is something I can do. I love watching dancing, especially ballroom dancing. They always make it look so easy. It is amazing to me how you can express yourself, feelings, moods etc., with dance and never have to say a word. I would like to see an opera. I'm afraid where I live opera is just not available to see and it's not the same just listening to it.

Photography is my absolute favorite way to express creativity, the way people view things when they look at the world is totally fascinating!!! I have taken some good photographs and they are the best way to capture a moment other than in your heart! I totally admire people who can sing and/or play the piano :) I wish I could paint well, but I can't :( Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses :)

anything that takes real skill. it's annoying how abstract artist can throw some paint on a canvas, call it a reflection of their soul or something like that, and sell it for a thousand bucks.
