I'm a very shy when it comes to talking to boys?

Do any of you have tips on how to star a conversation with them...and make me not sound wierd?
HELP!!!

Firstoff I feel like Im giving advice to a child, Dont try to start a conversation with him, just slip your number in his back pocket and give him a wink. Have fun.
