Running backs I have are-Tomlinson, Bush, Gore,Gado, and Michael Turner.(Strictly Insurance) Receivers- D Mason, Muhammad, R Wayne, D Bennett, Deion Branch, Troy Williamson. I have Delhomme at QB. In this league we start 1 QB 2 RB 3 WR 1Kicker 1 Team Defense. This is an offensive minded league, and not a keeper league. Any clue as to whether I should pull the trigger,or is R Bush worth holding on to.

Steve Smith will be the #1 guy at Carolina, while Bush will be the #2 RB for the Saints this year...

Smith this year... Bush next year.

It is not necessarily a good idea to have the starting QB and WR from the same team. Either they both have a great week or they won't give you many points. I did ride Randy Moss and Randall Cunningham to a league title a few years back.

You have two good RBs in LT and Gore. Even though Gore is dinged up, the 49ers will depend on him more since Vernon Davis is out. On the other hand, I think your WRs are a bit weak esp. since you need to start three.

So I would trade Reggie Bush for Steve Smith (though Smith's hamstring is a cause for concern.)

It depends on the extent of Gore's injury. I know he suffered an abdominal strain during game 3, so here's what I think:

If Gore is out for an extended period of time (unlikely) you will probably want to hold onto Bush as your 2nd string RB.

If Gore returns for week 4 (likely) then you should make the trade. Steve Smith is a top 5 receiver when he's healthy, and the word is that he is feeling much better now.

I would make that trade since Smith is the best WR, and you do have Tomlinson and Gore. If needed (due to an injury) you could then trade Smith for an even better RB than Bush.

1 pick up Gore's back up just in case he can't come back this week...2...pull the trigger on the trade. Gado isn't going anywhere with the lack of offensive line at Houston...you can actually trade Muhammad for a decent RB with the way he's been performing.

Steve Smith will be a much bigger benefit than Reggie Bush...Smith will end up with 10+ TD's while Reggie may have 5-7, also Reggie wont have great numbers in any category but fair numbers in many categories, Smith will end up with 1200+ yds...easy Steve Smith...

Randy Moss for Steve Smith :P I doubt he could desire to be that stupid however. do this: Clinton Portis and Santonio Holmes for Steve Smith and Selvin youthful. If he's as stupid as you're saying he's, he gets Smith and a RB to interchange Portis.
