I have never done that, some are on here just for points? Where do they think the points are going to get them? Maybe they think they are going to win a new car or something. I am on here to try and learn new things, and to help anyone that I can. I do hate that when you know darn well they don't know the first thing about the question. I also don't like the way some people use that abbreviation language. I was trying to give you an example, but I can't remember what they are. Then you have to read it 10 times, to try and figure out what they are saying..

Well, you certainly don't know how to ask a question. Have "no clue" about what? The question or the answer? Sounds like you don't have a clue to either one.

Sometimes a witty comment pops in and I feel compelled to share it.
Sometimes, because the asker nags for an answer by asking the same question over and over again.
Sometimes, for points.

I normally pass on the questions that I don't know, but some questions are just plain stupid so I answer to get the two points

That could possibly be so that your points earned for submitting an answer total-up faster. Of course, there's the extra maybe-bonus that an answer will be submitted as the best answer, earning even more points.
Have you noticed that some responders have a 5-number total for points?
