When I saw the inquirer cover I was horrified and even more so when I saw the inside photos. However...if you look at the small text between the photos in the magazine...it says that these "snapshots" are a "reinactment" of what may have happened. They are TELLING you that they have shown you a boggus photo!!! Not only to show you something disturbing like that....but to make it up too!!! Are they nuts?!?! Why not just use an old photo of him with his eyes closed and say this is a "reinactment" of what he looked like dead?!?! I admit I am guilty of looking at the photos...but only as a person who truly misses him as a loved one would feel compeled to look at the video. How can you know someone so well and not see their final moments if it were posible to view? I think it is disgusting that the inquirer fabricated photos to make a buck on that poor families loss. I hope the family takes them for every dime they are worth in court!!!

Hi there. Yes Steve is a legend.
I started to panic a bit when i read this, But i know for a fact that the footage of Steve Irwins death will not be released,
There are also statements from his manager Joe Stainton saying the footage will be destroyed.
There is no way that they( family ) would have released these photos they are so protective of Steves memory at the moment, Yes i also agree with most of these comments the inquirer isn't to be trusted. The first people to be in possesion of those images would be the Irwins & i can assure you they wouldn't sell those images. The inquirer should be ashamed of itself.

My first guess is that they had been photoshopped.
however if you have been following the HP scandle in the news .. a lot of money and a few felonys can open doors that are normally strongly shut.
Thanks for the update. Steve Irwin and family are so cool and they are doing much for animals around the world.

you cant trust the inquire they fake alot of there photos so i would just think they fake that one too. Bc if they got the real photos and the family did not want them to have them the family would sue THE SH%# out of them so i think those pics are fake.
yeah he was cool and i do feel for the kids and his family.

I'm guessing the photos were doctored. Can't imagine the few people in posession of them selling them like that.

I would suggest that those photos are fake.
Just another reason that the enquirer is a TRASH magazine.
