England Cricket have made a deal with england Rugby and have agreed to lull the Aussies into a false sense of security by letting them win the ashes so we can trample all over them again next year in the Rugby World Cup.................we all are aware of how much the Aussies like playing in France!!!!!

triumphing a tournament consisting 8 communities is larger than triumphing a tournament consisting 2 communities. that is not rocket technological know-how, no longer even bicycle technological know-how. Why England triumphing CT may well be bigger than England triumphing the Ashes:- a million. England has in no way gained CT, yet they have gained Ashes many situations. 2. that is final CT, Ashes sequence are actually not likely to end this 12 months. 3. England has in no way gained any ICC tournament. 4. Australia is a susceptible opponent in assessments while in comparison with India/SL/SA in ODIs. 5. the whole international is staring at CT, no one else cares approximately CT different than Aus, Eng. 6. maximum serious, CT is international tournament, Ashes is bilateral tournament. 7. Ashes remains 3 weeks away, then why indulging into Ashes talk, while there's a semi-very final of Champions' trophy on the instant? o.O

England just managed to sneak past Australia on home turf last year, playing their socks off in one of the tightest series in recent years. That was also with Australia's premier bowler Glen McGrath missing for much of the series.
With home advantage gone, and many of their star players under injury clouds, I am doubtful if they can win in Australia.
It is a tough tour and the hard pitches can be unforgiving on fast bowlers, especially those with existing injuries, such as Harmisson and Flintoff have been suffering.
Australia are hitting their straps, still have a well rounded line up, one of the best batting line-ups, with good emerging players such as Hussey, THE best keeper in Gilchrist, and THE best bowling attack in test cricket at the moment. Lee, McGrath, Warne, and probably backed by the emerging Mitchell Johnson who can bowl at 150km+ as well as swing the ball, and being a left hander gives variation in direction of attack, they are looking fearsome.
With home advantage, and the added motivation of winning back the Ashes, the Aussies will be fully pumped up for this. Aussie crowds can be very hostile to visiting batsmen - especially if they are struggling, so it is not going to be easy for England. It is hard to see Australia doing anything but taking swift revenge. I predict 3-1 to Aus.

It will be a draw 1-1 and England will retain the Ashes.

It will be a close run thing, but I believe England can retain the Ashes, winning the series well that might be something else

The Aussies will have too much fire power this time around. England have a handy bowling line up when they are all fit, but its not going to make much of a dent when they are sitting in the stands!
