Every other day, and no solo play in between. Gives the sperm count time to build back up.

Depends on if you have a normal sperm count. Also if she has any problems or not. Assuming your both in good physical condition to conceive a baby, I was told every other day is a good rule of thumb. The reason is that it allows sperm to build up but not for too long. (Doing so for too long 2 days or longer, can sabatage your efforts due to old sperm) I was told this by an OB I used to have.

I have read so many differing opinions in just as many books. The most common thing I've read is every other day. Especially when you suspect your wife is ovulating...add in a couple of days before and after ovulation just to be sure. Good luck!
